Masonicare has been improving the lives and well-being of people in our community for over ten years.
Proudly supporting causes at a grass roots level, Masonicare tackles issues to make a tangible and lasting difference in society.
Masonicare is the official charity of NSW and ACT Freemasons. It successfully harnesses the combined efforts, and innate charitable characteristics of our fraternity, to reach out across the jurisdiction and help those in need.
Coffs Coast Freemasons. Freemasonry is the largest and oldest fraternal organisation in the world and is CanDo’s most generous sponsor, having a hand in almost everything we do and supporting us with not only financial assistance but assistance at events and the running of their own events in honour of CanDo.
Freemasonry is a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values. Its members are taught its precepts by a series of ritual dramas, which follow ancient forms and use stonemasons’ customs and tools as allegorical guides.
National Australia Bank. For almost 160 years, the NAB have been helping customers with their money.
Today, they have more than 30,000 people serving 9,000,000 customers at more than 900 locations in Australia, New Zealand and around the world.
As Australia’s largest business bank they work with small, medium and large businesses. They fund some of the most important infrastructure in our communities – including schools, hospitals and roads. And they do it in a way that’s responsible, inclusive and innovative.
Coffs Harbour Pink Silks Perpetual Trust aims to ensure the community’s donations benefit as many women as possible, over as many years as possible, as they have a responsibility to those who have kindly donated to the cause. It’s seven women that form the committee in a voluntary role, and they work together with the Coffs Harbour Racing Club, to provide a unique charity day. Every second year they contribute $10,000 to a national breast cancer research institute – an important and essential need in developing better treatments and hopefully one day a cure.
Tour de Rocks. While their primary focus is cancer, there are many parallel activities that strengthen the Tour de Rocks reputation as a worthy cause. They provide the opportunity for people to do something they thought unachievable, and more significantly, an activity that brings families together through common objectives, building memories that would last a lifetime and will be drawn upon when times get tough. There are very often tears at the finish line when people realise what they’ve achieved, not only through completing the ride, but also successfully fundraising and contributing to their communities.
Commonwealth Bank. Australia’s leading provider of integrated financial services, including retail, premium, business and institutional banking, funds management, superannuation, insurance, investment and share-broking products and services.
Woolgoolga Lions Club. The Lions Club is a worldwide organisation that gets involved in humanitarian efforts locally, nationally and internationally. Club members are dedicated to raising funds to assist communities and the Woolgoolga club has been particularly generous to CanDo which is in turn, assisting their local Woolgoolga community. We thank them sincerely for continually donating funds to CanDo.
